Leadership Diagnostic Instrument (LDI®)

Continuous safety improvement requires strong leadership and engagement by employees at all levels of an organisation. While senior managers must create and sustain the culture which drives HSE performance, it is often the case that the entire leadership team will benefit from a baseline assessment of safety leadership skills. Building on the leadership processes and existing culture of the client organisation, Russell Consulting International will conduct HSE leadership diagnostic assessments and workshops. Common features of these workshops include:

  • Identification of the main gaps in safety, health and environment performance
  • Examination of the leadership behaviours required to ensure closure of these gaps
  • Determination of the barriers to leaders exhibiting these behaviours and actions to remove those barriers
  • Agreement on mechanisms to sustain the required behaviours

Russell Consulting International provides experienced facilitators and coaches for these activities. Our experience has shown significantly better outcomes than more traditional technically based courses.
