RAR Investments P/L is bound by the provisions of the Australian federal Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act). Personal information provided by users of this website is managed in accordance with the National Privacy Principles established by the Privacy Act.

2. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

This is a job recruitment assessment, therefore when you apply for a position through the website we collect personal information about you. The types of personal information we may collect in respect of an online application for employment include your name, address, telephone number, email address, employment history, education credentials and any other information you provide to us in your resume (such as referee details).

In certain circumstances, we may also ask you to provide personal information about you which is sensitive. Sensitive information includes information about your health or a criminal record.

Your personal information is collected for the purpose of considering your employment application, assessing your employment application, and reporting to our client for whom you are making this employment application. If your application is successful, the information will form part of your employment record.

If you do not provide required information, the prospects of your job application succeeding may be reduced.

3. THIRD PARTY ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

RAR Investments P/L will disclose your personal information only in limited circumstances. The information will be provided to the organisation that the position you are applying for is with, a third party such as a recruitment consultant or for the purposes of verifying information that you have provided. We will also disclose the information to a third party if necessary and authorised or required by law.

Your personal information may be transferred between countries including outside Australia or your home country. The information may be viewed by RAR Investments P/L or its subsidiaries in connection with its recruiting activities.

We will not transfer personal information outside Australia unless we believe that the recipients of the information are subject to a law, binding scheme or contract which effectively upholds principles for fair handling of your personal information that are substantially similar to the National Privacy Principles.

4. USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

By providing us with your personal information, you consent to the collection, use, management and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Statement.

We will not use or disclose information collected about you other than for a purpose made known to you, a purpose you would reasonably expect, a purpose required or permitted by or under any law or a purpose otherwise authorised by you.

- our client to whom you are making your employment application;

- other potential employers who may wish to engage you as employee, contractor or on a temporary basis; and

- organisations that provide psychometric testing and other competency testing referees;

- our agents, contractors and external advisers whom we engage from time to time to carry out, or advise on, our functions and activities;

- your agents and contractors, including your legal or employment advisers;

- your referees;

- regulatory bodies, government agencies, law enforcement bodies and courts; and

- any person or organisation who introduces you to us.

RAR Investments P/L takes all reasonable steps to ensure the security of this website. RAR Investments P/L accept no responsibility for the un-authorised access of personal information held by RAR Investments P/L or any authorised party to which RAR Investments P/L has disclosed the information.

6. YOUR ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you wish to access the personal information that we hold or have any other questions about this Privacy Statement, please contact us and we will endeavour to respond to you promptly.

Under certain circumstances, we may not be able to tell you what personal information we hold about you. This includes where:

- it would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy of other individuals;

- it would reveal our intentions in relation to negotiations with you in such a way as to prejudice those negotiations

- the information would reveal our commercially sensitive decision-making process; or

- we are prevented by law from disclosing the information, or providing access would prejudice certain investigations.

If you wish to remove the personal information that we hold about you please contact us by sending an email to info@russellconsulting.com.au with the request to delete your personal information. Please include your username and password to verify your account details. You will be sent a notice confirming that your profile has been deleted. You may be charged a fee to access your information.

7. GOVERNMENT INDENTIFIERS

We do not use your tax file number, Medicare number, pension number or any other government identifier as your application number. We will only use and disclose these numbers for the purposes required by law.
